"The others? You found them?!" Marco inquired in disbelief.
"Well…. Not everyone… Just Eri and Trevor…" Fio answered nervously.
Marco stared into Fio's large brown eyes. He couldn't help himself and felt as if he just couldn't look away. She was gorgeous. Unlike Eri, Fio was quite timid but at the same time she was friendly and bubbly.
"You're so beautiful… you know that?" He said with a grin.
Fio felt as if she wanted to say the same thing back to him but then thought that it could sound awfully strange.
But what was he? Handsome? Cute? …Sexy? She wasn't sure what to say at all. Feelings were building up inside her. She needed to let it all out.
But how…
"Marco…" whispered Fio. She placed her hand on Marco's cheek. He looked down at her hand on his face. All of a sudden he closed his eyes and blushed. Why did he close his eyes? Marco did not know. What he did know was that he couldn't help it. Her hand was so soft and he couldn't help the fact that he was blushing.
Fio smiled. She could tell he was embarrassed. Males don't usually blush unless they like someone… a lot… Fio leaned forward and pressed her lips lightly on his lips. Marco opened his eyes in shock but slowly shut them again and began to move his lips slowly.
Suddenly Fio opened her eyes and quickly broke away from Marco's lips. In fact it was so quick and sudden that Marco's lips were still puckered for a number of seconds before he realised the kiss was over and opened his eyes.
"I forgot. I need to tell the others you're safe!" she yelled, soon followed shy blush.
"The kiss was good" Marco smiled.
"Oh, you're such a jerk!" she laughed.
Hand in hand, the two lovers left the station. Finally they had both fessed up to their love and neither of them seemed to deny each other one bit.
"Oh god, it's pissing it down!" Marco yelled. "I know…" Marco slid off his waterproof vest. He held it above the girl like an umbrella. Fio gave a slight chuckle but then looked up at the male's arms. They were so strong and large. No wonder why she felt safe in his embrace earlier.
"No", said Fio pushing the red vest back at him. "You'll need it to keep warm. I have a jacket. Besides, It's much more romantic in the rain…"
